3 iPad 3 Jailbroken Untethered On iOS 5.1 With 3 Different Exploits [Video]
Jailbreak dev teams are on a roll right now, everybody is jailbreaking their iPad 3 with their own exploits. i0n1c has just uploaded a video of his iPad 3 untethered jailbreak on iOS 5.1. The video demonstrates a very stable jailbreak which is working perfectly fine on iPad 3. Earlier today MuscleNerd of iPhone-Dev team released two pictures of his iPad 3 jailbroken on iOS 5.1. The most interesting thing about this recent jailbreak spree is that everyone is using their own exploits to jailbreak their iPad 3. Yesterday i0n1c demonstrated his iPad 2 jailbroken on iOS 5.1 which is also a great news for iPad 2 users who are running iOS 5.1 because as of now there is no public jailbreak available for iPad 2 running iOS 5.1. Later, MuscleNerd of iPhone-Dev team announced that iPad 3 jailbreak won’t take much time because they have enough exploits that they can release a stable public jailbreak for iPad 3 very soon.
i0n1c’s jailbreak is a confirmed untethered which means you won’t connect your iPad 3 to computer if you reboot your device. We still don’t have bootrom exploit which limits the possibility of jailbreaking every iOS firmware. This is also a major reason which slow downs the whole process of release a stable public jailbreak. With Apple being really clever in patching exploits with frequent iOS updates it takes a lot of time to find vulnerabilities in latest iOS firmwares which leads to a an untethered jailbreak.
Here’s iPad 3′s Untethered jailbreak video demonstration:
You think that wasn’t enough for you, well chpwn who is another famous iOS developer and prominent member of jailbreak dev community announced couple of minutes ago that he has jailbroken his iPad 3 with a different exploit. So yeah 3 iPad 3 jailbroken with 3 different exploits in less than 24 hours of its launch, now that is FAST if I may say so.
We don’t have an estimated release time-frame of these jailbreaks but it won’t take much time.
March madness is still on and we will keep you updated on this, stay tuned!
