Apple To Announce Tweaked Version of 9.7 Inch iPad On 23rd October Event

Everyone in tech community is looking forward to Apple’s special media event on October 23rd in which the company is planning to announce their all new iPad mini along with new iMacs, 13-Inch Retina MacBook Pros and new Mac Minis. But that’s not everything, we’ve got something more to share with you guys, our friends over 9to5Mac are now reporting that Cupertino Calif. based consumer electronics giant is also planning to unveil a tweaked version of full sized 9.7 inch iPad on October 23rd. We’ve heard the chatter and also seen some leaked parts of highly reported iPad mini but reports about a full sized refresh are also very positive.

This tweaked version of 9.7 inch iPad will carry Apple’s all new smaller Lightning dock connector. Introduced in iPhone 5, Lightning dock connector is significantly smaller than infamous 30 pin dock connector which gives the company a lot of space to stuff more technology in the device.

iPad 3 aka the new iPad was introduced in March earlier this year sported a Retina display and 4G LTE technology but iPad 3 didn’t support global LTE connectivity. According to this report, the upcoming tweaked version of iPad will carry Apple’s new radio chip which will support LTE worldwide. It’s highly likely that Apple will introduce A6 processor in iPad 3′s updated version and will also fix the heating issues.
