Apple To Unveil 13-Inch Retina MacBook Pro On 23rd October

Everyone is looking forward to Apple’s special media event which is reportedly taking place on 23rd October  The event will majorly focus on much reported iPhone mini but our friends over 9to5Mac have a really interesting scoop regarding this special media event. According to Mark Gurman, Apple is also going to unveil a 13-inch variant of their Retina MacBook Pro family alongside iPad mini on 23rd October.

According to a reliable source:

“This new 13-inch MacBook Pro with a Retina Display is said to pick up the thinner and lighter enclosure of the 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display that was released in June.”

This 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro is internally codenamed as D1 which is similar to its 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro family member which was internally codenamed as D2. If the reports are true then this 13-inch variant of Retina MacBook Pro would be the second in line, Apple’s 15-Inch version of Retina MacBook Pro was launched in June earlier this year. The same source also claims that 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro would be available in multiple hardware configurations and it would also be available for purchase right after it’s launch on October 23rd.

Both 13-inch and 15-inch Retina MacBook Pros would be sold at higher prices than standard MacBook Pros. It is important to note here that Apple is not going to cut down their supply of non-Retina MacBook Pros any time soon.

We will keep you updated on this, stay tuned!
