Can You Differentiate Between iPad 2 And iPad 3? Most People Can't [Video]
It’s been over 2 days since the launch of 3rd generation iPad and the sales have been amazing so far. Though there are a lot new and noticeable features in iPad 3 but it inherits its over all form factor from its ancestor–iPad 2. One of the most prominent and probably Apple’s major selling point is iPad 3′s 2048by1536 Retina display which looks gorgeous in hands. iPad 3 has a million more pixels than a regular HDTV it also comes equipped with a new 5 megapixel camera is based on Apple’s latest 5 element lens technology which was first introduced in iPhone 4S last year. The new iPad also brings 4G LTE capabilities which makes it the most complete tablet available in market right now. These are some major changes which differentiates the new iPad from iPad 2, most of us can blindly spot these features but TNW’s survey revealed some surprising results.
TNW’s team went out on street to conduct a survey in which they showed random people both iPad 2 and the new iPad and asked one simple question; which one is the new iPad? Most of people were not able to spot any difference and pointed in the wrong direction. This is not surprising because the new iPad looks exactly like iPad 2, no doubt the internals of iPad 3 have been beefed up but and it’s slightly thicker than iPad 2 but it’s really hard for an average Joe to pin point the difference under special circumstances.

If you happen to have both generations of iPad then you should try it out with your friends to check their response. Fan boys and die hard Apple fans would immediately pick the right one but I’m sure that it would be a hard pick for people who’re not interested in iOS devices.
