Apple Seeds iOS 5 GM To Developer, Download Now
Apple has just seeded iOS 5 GM to developers, after launching iPhone 4S in Let’s Talk iPhone event at their Cupertino Campus California. We heard numerous rumors about iOS 5 GM or better say final version soon after the release of last iOS 5 bets, Beta 7. Some analysts believed that Apple would release iOS 5 GM on 23rd September and we received couple of more dates like this afterwards.
An OTA update for this GM release has also been pushed to developers who were already using iOS 5 Beta 7. remember that people who have jailbroken their iOS device and are running iOS 5 beta 7 won’t get any OTA update because of a known bug. This bug will be fixed after public release of iOS 5 which is on October 12th.
This is the only iOS version in the history of Apple for which 7 Beta versions were seeded to developers. iTunes 10.5 beta version kept on coming even after iOS 5 Beta 7 and Apple as of this writing has seeded 9 beta version of iTunes 10.5. Last beta 9 release of iTunes also revealed information about Apple’s iPhone 4S.
iOS 5 GM Jailbreak Information:
Just for your know all beta version till now have already been jailbroken using Sn0wbreeze and redsn0w. Keep in mind that there’s no untethered jailbreak for iOS 5 beta version of this newly released iOS 5 GM.
Releasing an iOS 5 GM or Beta untethered jailbreak was pointless because Apple would’ve easily patched the untether vulnerability with a minor update. But don’t expect an untethered jailbreak for iOS 5 GM until October 12th because iOS 5 is going public from October 12th.

Anyhow, you can download iOS 5 GM only if you’re registered Apple Developer from Apple’s Developer Portal. Remember that this release is not meant for people who are not Apple’s registered developers.
