Facebook Photo Sharing iPhone App, Full Details
As we reported earlier that Facebook is about to release a Photo Sharing by the name of “HoverTown” or “WithPeople”, well things are getting little clear now. More details are out on this app which i consider to be the biggest leak ever in Facebook history. We were right about it, it looks like a combination of Instagram, Color, Path, and even Path’s new side project, With.
Let’s get down to some details of this upcoming Facebook Photo Sharing app:
Capture and Share:
Sounds more like the feature we still have in our Facebook for iPhone app. It has the same ability to capture and share picture right from the application. Take the picture tag someone with location and share it on Facebook well that’s pretty vanilla but i like they it looks now. Take a look at it your self:
Two Modes For Sharing Picture:
This is a new feature, you’ll have the ability to share single picture (like always click, tag and share) and now you can take multiple pictures and upload them at once. This is cool.
This is never going to change, you can check feedback on your uploaded pictures within the app. What’s new in it? Well i believe it’s going to be a UI change how comments and like show up, looking at this mock-up below i can see a “Swipe-Up” feature to unveil comments and likes.
This information is still raw, and looking at all these mock-ups you can clearly see that some of them are built right into running version of Facebook for iOS app. Some images make it seem as if the service will eventually reside within the existing Facebook iPhone app, while others seem to showcase an entirely new app (or a completely redesigned Facebook app). It’s entirely possible that both will be correct.
Surprisingly there’s no statement from Facebook on all of this, Facebook always reply quickly to such news but not this time. It is speculated the Facebook is going to launch this app in couple or days but there’s no Confirmed ETA.
We’ll keep you updated on this !!!!
