February's "Strange" Apple Event Rumor Debunked
Well this rumor had a short life, shorter than expected. Earlier today a Japanese blog reported that Apple is planning to hold a “strange” event in February but it’s not going to be a product launch. Furthermore Danbo mentioned this not going to be iPad 3 launch event and we should expect a special event for iPad 3 launch in March.
I reported that Apple was going to hold Special Event in early February according to Asian supplier and source from united states, but this report told a half-side of truth. Apple will hold “Strange” event at February instead of Special Event.
Danbo revealed couple of weeks ago that Apple may release their third gen tablet in February but earlier today he claimed that it was “half-side of truth”. But that’s not what Jim Dalrymple of The Loop thinks, according to him Apple is not planning any sort of event in February.
This is not going to happen, according to my sources. Apple will not hold an event in February, unusual or otherwise. That’s it.
Dalrymple has good track record when it comes to Apple events. So we can now officially debunk this rumor. We should still expect Apple’s third-gen tablet in March time-frame.
iPad 3′s production is well underway at Foxconn China and Pegtron to meet iPad 3 demand on its launch. Some reports have already confirmed that Apple is planning to introduced a Retina Display in iPad 3. We also saw some leaked images of purported iPad 3 retina display with higher resolution. Another report from iLonge’s Editor in Chief also claimed that iPad 3 would carry a Retina Display and better front and back cameras. Leaked images from iPad 3′s debugging software also revealed that iPad 3 would carry Apple’s new A6 quad-core processor.
So yeah, there’s no strange or unusual Apple event of any sort taking place in February.
We will keep you updated on this, stay tuned.
