Google+ Official iPad and iPod Touch App Released, Features And Download Link
Google has finally released their official Google+ app for iPad and iPod Touch today. Google+ iOS app for iPhone was released couple of weeks ago without the support of iPad and iPod Touch. The feedback of iOS app was not that good and Google pushed their first update after an hour of official release.
This new update of Google+ app supports all iOS device including iPad and iPod Touch, Google also made some changes to to +Huddle which is Google+’s instant messaging service. Now users have ability to customize +Huddle, aggregated circle add notifications and the same old “Performance and stability improvements”.
Google+ is Google take on social network and was released back in June. It was launched with Android app but people with iOS devices had to wait for an iOS version of the app which was introduced later. Google+ now has more than 20 Million active users and is considered to be the fastest growing Social Network in history as it gained whooping 10 million users in first week.
First Google+ desktop client was also released last month which was more like a mobile app running on your desktop. Google+ desktop client gave you the ability to check you Friend Stream, Circles, Profile, and of course Status Update feature right from your desktop.
Google+ iPad app is not really an iPad version of the app it looks like as if it’s the same iPhone and iPod touch app running on iPad. It not fully optimized for the device and looks really bad on iPad. Go ahead try it out yourself and leave comments about your experience !
