Well Well Well! Dear Apple you and your secrets, you always surprise us by keeping some important features away from us. Folks if you got your iPad2 or even if you have an iPad1 running on iOS 4.3, there’s a surprise for you in it.

Well i won’t keep you in darkness for long, it’s multi-touch gestures, you can do a lot of cool stuff with them like switching between apps and going back to home with a pinch of your finger. Pretty cool right? Apple included this feature in their latest release of iOS 4.3.  But it’s hidden, and you cannot activate it normally.

I think we have a solution for you then, follow steps given below to activate multi-gestures on your iPad1 and iPad2.

Things you will need during this process:

  • iPad 1 or iPad 2

  • Xcode 4 (You’ll have to purchase it for $4.99) (Download link below)

Step 1: Install Xcode 4 on your computer.

Step 2: Connect your iPad1 or iPad2 running on iOS 4.3, it will detect your device.

Step 3: Click on the “Use for development” button.

Step 4: Now Xcode 4 will ask you for your iOS developer credentials in the dialog box, click cancel. It will give you an error. Disregard it.

Step 5: Once you’re done with developer mode activation, go to your iPad general preferences menu and turn on the new multi-gestures.

Step 6: Enjoy multi-touch gestures on your iPad!!

It’s totally worth all those 5 bucks you paid.
