iPad 2 Jailbreak In The Form Of JailbreakMe 3.0 Coming Soon ?
Now this is some serious stuff, famous iPhone hacker comex has just updated his JailbreakMe website. The picture on website gives an indication that he has found a PDF exploit and JailbreakMe 3.o release is imminent. Comex is known for his userland jailbreaking tool JailbreakMe, we know that there is no jailbreak for iPad 2 out there as yet because comex’s exploit was patched by Apple. He started working on finding a new exploit, and now this update of his sites indicates a possible success in iPad 2 jailbreak or a possible exploit to play with.
Many Dev teams are working on iPad 2 jailbreak, Chronic Dev team is also busy with the same task. They’ve updated iPad jailbreak status many times but i believe no success is coming their way. Joshua Hill aka @p0sixninja also tried to involve famous iDevice hacker GeoHot in this mission and he accepted his offer but there’s no update from GeoHot on iPad2 Jailbreak till now. Comex’s work on iPad 2 jailbreak looks promising.
Now there are couple of questions here, which iOS version JailbreakMe 3.0 is going to support? When is it coming ? etc etc.There’s no ETA on this as yet but we will keep you updated on this.
