Jailbreak iOS 4.3.2 On iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod Touch, And iPad Using redsn0w 0.9.6 [How To]

This was way quicker than we ever imagined, Apple today pushed iOS 4.3.2 update and it was jailbroken after an hour of release. For now this jailbreak is “tethered only” which means you will have to boot into tethered mode every time your restart your phone.

WARNING: Unlockers must stay away from this update or jailbreak till further notice.

You can jailbreak your device on iOS 4.3.2 using redsn0w by following these simple steps:

Things you will need during this process:

  • iOS 4.3.2 for your iPhone4,3GS, iPod Touch and iPad Download
  • iOS 4.3.1 for your iPhone4,3GS, iPod Touch and iPad Download
  • Latest version of iTunes Download
  • redsn0w 0.9.6 rc12 for Wondows Download
  • redsn0w 0.9.6 rc12 for Mac Download

Step 1: Download iOS 4.3.1 and iOS 4.3.2 from the links above.

Step 2: Restore your device to the latest firmware (iOS 4.3.2) which you downloaded earlier.

Step 3: Start redsn0w 0.9.6 rc12 and point it to the official iOS 4.3.1 firmware file.

Step 4: Check mark “Install Cydia” in the given options and click Next.

Step 5: Make sure your device is both OFF and PLUGGED IN to the computer before you click “Next”.

Step 6: Now you’ll be instructed to put your iDevice into DFU Mode. Follow the on screen instructions.

Step 7:  When successfully entered into DFU mode, RedSn0w will start jailbreaking iPhone 4 or iPhone 3GS on iOS 4.3.2.

Now from here onwards, whenever you want to do anything related to jailbreak like SSHing into your device, or running Cydia, you must first run your device in the so called “jailbroken state” on every reboot by using “Just boot tethered right now” option in Redsn0w.
