MobileMe Users Will Retain Their 20GB Storage When Migrating To iCloud, Will Start iCloud From 25GB
This is a really good news for MobileMe users who already have 20GB storage,they will retain their 20GB annual storage after migrating to iCloud. iCloud was previewed two months ago in June at WWDC this year. The service is a total revamp of Apple’s previous cloud based service MobileMe.
iCloud obviously bring a lot more new features than MobileMe, and iWork support is topping the list of new features. Current MobileMe users who would be migrating to iCloud after it’s launch this fall would retain their current 20GB yearly storage. Their iCloud account will start from 25GB annual storage space, 20GB which they retained from MobileMe and 5GB which they’d be gettin from iCloud.
No extra fee will be charged from MobileMe users for migration or anything else. Just migrate your MobileMe account to iCloud and enjoy 25GB storage.
