Unlock iPhone 4S Baseband 1.0.11, 1.0.13,And 1.0.14 With TPSIM By ChinaSnow
This is a great news for iPhone 4S owners all over the world specially for those who wanted to unlock their iPhone 4S to use it with other carriers. iPhone 4S has been unlocked on baseband 1.0.11, 1.0.13, and 1.0.14 successfully. This is not a software unlock like Ultrasn0w, it’s a hardware unlock more like Gevey SIM which was released last year to unlock iPhone 4 baseband 4.10.01. This interposer SIM is not from ApplenBerry or Gevey dev team, this time we have a new player in the game. Team ChinaSnow has successfully unlocked iPhone 4S on iOS 5.0 and iOS 5.0.1 which is incredible, the team has also demoed their iPhone 4S unlocking solution in a video.
TPSIM Unlock will successfully unlock your iPhone 4S on following basebands:
- 1.0.11
- 1.0.13
- 1.0.14
Unlock iPhone 4S Baseband 1.0.11, 1.0.13,And 1.0.14 With TP SIM:
Though ChinaSnow unlock team is a new player in iPhone unlocking but their unlocking solution looks solid. iPhone 4S’ baseband bootrom was dumped by iPhone-Dev team in December last year and they also said that a promising unlock for iPhone 4S is in works. It was highly speculated that iPhone-Dev team will release Ultrasn0w unlock for iPhone 4S along with iPhone 4S untethered jailbreak. We got the jailbreak but we didn’t see any unlocking solution on horizon. So people who want to unlock iPhone 4S on above mentioned basebands can use TP SIM to unlock their iPhone.
Here’s a video of this working unlock solution:

Based on the screenshot from the video above, this is confirmed to be an iPhone 4S as it shows the MEID. An MEID is a unique identifier found on CDMA handsets within the United States (and countries like Japan). The MEID system is compatible with the existing IMEI number system used in GSM and UMTS handsets. It is being phased in to replace the ESN numbers currently used on CDMA devices, since the pool of ESN numbers has been virtually exhausted due to the number of devices in use.
TP-SIM unlock is not available openly in market right now but you can pre-order it for your iPhone 4S from here. It will cost you $99.95 which is a little higher than usual interposer unlocks.
We will keep you updated on this, stay tuned.
