Untethered Jailbreak For iOS 5.0, 5.0.1 Is Ready For All A4 Devices
Pod2g is in limelight these days because of his iOS 5.0 and iOS 5.0.1 untethered jailbreak. In recent updates on his newly created blog iOS developer Pod2g has confirmed that his untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.0 and iOS 5.0.1 is ready. He will test this untethered jailbreak on all A4 devices altogether very soon.
Remember that this untethered jailbreak would work on all A4 devices only, Pod2g has confirmed that his untethered iOS 5.0.1 and iOS 5.0 jailbreak works on iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 1, iPod Touch 3G, iPod Touch 4G and Apple TV 2g.

Just to let you know my progress in real time.
Pod2g is done with all the coding and now he will move on to the next big step which is testing his iOS 5.0 and iOS 5.0.1 untethered jailbreak on all A4 devices. After complete testing his untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.0.1 and iOS 5.0 would be all set for release in the form of Greenpois0n and it’s highly likely that Pod2g’s untethered would also be incorporated in Sn0wbreeze and redsn0w jailbreaking tools.
Pod2g demoed his iOS 5.0 untethered jailbreak couple of days ago, contrary to previous belief that iOS 5.0 won’t work for devices running iOS 5.0.1, he later confirmed that his untethered jailbreak will indeed work on iOS 5.0.1 as well.
Remember: iOS 5.0.1 and iOS 5.0 untethered jailbreak by Pod2g has only been tested on A4 devices only which means it won’t work on A5 devices (iPhone 4S and iPad 2).
iPhone 4S and iPad 2 iOS 5.0 untethered jailbreak is also being worked on. iPhone-Dev team has already demoed iOS 5.0 jailbroken on their iPad 2 and iPhone 4S but that was just a preliminary jailbreak.
There’s no exact time-frame or ETA given by Po2g but it’s going to be a good Christmas.
