WeeCloseApps Kills Apps Running In Background With A Single Swipe [Cydia Tweak]
Killing apps running in background from stock App Switcher is what we all do on daily basis, some of us do it to kill couple of seconds and some people are just crazy about killing those apps. Though iOS manages your multitasking in really sophisticated way but we still want to KILL those apps don’t we? Honestly speaking App Switcher is boring and time taking, we already have some solutions (Cydia Tweaks) which can do the job in less time and more efficiently. Today we have another really great Cydia tweak which will take care of your background apps assassination from Notification Center. WeeCloseApps For Notification Center is a new Cydia Tweak designed to kill background app with a single swipe.
WeeCloseApps is a very customizable tweak which can do the job for you right from your Notification Center. Interface of this tweak is pretty simple, you will get a sliding knob in your NC which works smoothly. The working of this tweak is even more simpler and smooth, you can swipe left or right to kill all apps running in background.
After installation this tweak won’t create any icon on your SpringBoard but it will give you some configuration options in Settings.app. The slider knob is capable of performing two actions – one each for sliding to the right or sliding to the left. You can configure these sliding actions from options in available in Settings.app. Anthony over MMi explained them in detail:
- Close app - simply closes the application you are currently in like the home button would
- Kill app – closes and kills the application you are currently in from the App Switcher
- Kill background – kills background applications, but not the application you’re currently in
- Kill background all – kills everything; the application you’re in and everything running in the background
- None – does nothing
Like any other Notification Center tweak you will have to turn it on from Settings>Notification before using it. Overall this tweak works perfectly fine, if you don’t like apps running in background then you can give it a try.
