White iPhone 4S Surfaced In AT&T's Inventory
Another iPhone 4S news just surfaced, a tipster sent a picture of AT&T’s internal inventory system to Engadget earlier today. This picture clearly shows Apple’s upcoming iPhone 4S White in AT&T’s inventory listing.
No further details about this mysterious appearance of Apple’s low-cost version of iPhone were told. If you’re a regular reader then you should be familiar with previous reports about iPhone 4s. iPhone 4S is Apple’s low-cost version of iPhone for third-world markets. iPhone 4S has been in discussions from quite sometime now and we’ve also seen some alleged picture of this new addition in iPhone family.
A lot of reports confirmed that Apple is planning to introduce 2 iPhones this and that also is one the reasons for delayed iPhone launch this year. With 2 iPhones in production we’ve seen some mixed reports about leaked upcoming iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S parts. It’s really hard to judge which part is being manufactured for which iPhone. However, we do know that this cheap version of iPhone, iPhone 4S, would look more like an iPhone 4 in fact it will be a perfect replica of iPhone 4 with little hardware bump. This hardware upgrade includes a fairly faster processor probably Apple’s A5 chip, we’ve also published some alleged pictures of iPhone 4S which suggest that iPhone 4S won’t be carrying glass front and back panels but plastic. Using plastic would reduce production cost significantly but as we mentioned before, if Apple can produce an iPod Touch 4G with a good metallic back while keeping it $350 they can also make iPhone 4S with good quality material (not plastic) and keep it $350.
All other features of this iPhone 4S would be similar to current generation of iPhone, iPhone 4. There is slight chance that Apple may introduce a GSM/CDMA Qualcomm chip which supports both GSM and CDMA networks. This chip is currently being shipped in Verizon iPhone 4 and reports have also confirmed that this same chip would be used in upcoming iPhone 5.
iPhone 4S would be launched in October along with iPhone 5. No exact launch date or event date has been released by Apple or leaked by source though some sources are suggesting that Apple would be introducing iPhone 5 on October 15th. iPhone 5 is the most awaited product of the year, it’s getting Apple’s faster and powerful A5 dual-core processor, large display screen probably 4 inches, a slimmer design, an 8 megapixel photo camera and dual network (GSM/CDMA) support.
We will keep you updated on this, stay tuned!
